Feel a little weird this morning, so I just scanned a few things from a random scrapbook selection. Most are from when I was an intermediate or junior. I’ll be more creative tomorrow I hope. You can click on any of the photos to enlarge.

This is a photo of the first team I rode for. It was the Mt. Oread Bicycle Club sponosored by Blue Hills Bike Shop. Gene Wee, who ran the Student Union Activities office at KU organized it. This allowed both Kris and I to travel to races that we never would have had the money to attend.

My first real bike. I rode this as an intermediate, just until I had mowed enough yards to buy a Colnago. How about those Phil Wood hubs?

The first time I rode the Red Zinger/Coor's Classic, I rode for a composite team sponsored by ArchorSteam Beer. I wonder if I still have that jersey, it was wool and super hot. That is Tom Chew, my team mate, beside me.
