New Greg Lemond Interview Irish Radio

This entry was posted in Racing on by .

If you have a little free time this Sunday morning, here is an interview with Greg he did in Ireland. He’s been pretty out of the loop every since this USADA thing has went down. He doesn’t have much love loss for Lance, obviously. I’ve heard most of this before, in person. I wonder how history is going to treat Greg? Greg says it himself, he was in “a no win situation”. And Greg is right, he is a “good guy.” It starts a little slow, but picks up after a while.

Back in the day.

Back in the Day photo , reminds us how fast things can change !
Greg subscribing to the ” Paul Kimmage Defence Fund ” will have brought about that interview and should encourage ALL Cycle Racers to back Paul in his efforts on the 12th Dec in Aigle !

The prats of Aigle , may very well decide to postpone the hearing , to avoid the following being repeated :
    have concealed cases of doping.
    received money for doing so.
have accepted money from Lance Armstrong to conceal a doping case.
have protected certain racing cyclists, concealed cases of doping.
have engaged in manipulation, particularly of tests and races.
have hesitated and delayed publishing the results of a positive test on Alberto Contador.
    have accepted bribes.
    are corrupt.
    are terrorists.
have no regard for the rules.
    load the dice.
    are fools.
do not have a genuine desire to restore discipline to cycling.
    are full of sh1t.
    are clowns.
    their words are worthless.
    are liars.
are no different to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

These were all statements Floyd Landis is forbidden to make.

Great interveiw. Greg has never recieved the recognition he is deserving of. His vindication is on the horizon with the release of the USADA report. Trek should be ashamed of their actions with regards to Greg. He is right on the money about this window of opportunity to clean up the sport or be relegated to pro wrestling status.

Steve should burn the Trek in a giant, bacardi 151 fueled bonfire…with flames. Photograph/post the pics and then pony up the clams for Kent Eriksen to do him right. Trek should hang their collective heads in shame for fueling the ego of Lance and nuking Greg

It is a great interview…only about 40 minutes long. I hope Greg does more interviews in the future….and run for a position at USA Cycling.

“If Lance is clean, it is the greatest comeback in the history of sports. If he isn’t, it would be the greatest fraud.” Greg LeMond – he knew all along.
