Today hasn’t gone so well. I have a huge hole in my leg. The lidocaine wore off too quick. I went by Walgreens to fill a couple prescriptions and left my cell phone at the pharmacy. I didn’t realize this until we were through the tunnel heading to Denver. So, we backtracked West and got stuck in ski traffic.
It’s better now. Just left Colby, KS. 300 miles left. On Vicodine. Could be worse.

We got back to Kansas around 9pm. Way too long of a drive for my liking for some reason. I have a vicodin hangover today. It might be because I didn’t really eat anything yesterday, ate vicodin and then went to Keith Walberg’s work, Gizmo Pictures, Christmas party and drank red wine. Believe me, not a good recipe for feeling good the next day.
I started taking antibiotics this morning. I was trying to avoid that, but that didn’t work out. When I take antibiotics, I can’t get out of my own way on a bike. Sometimes it lasts for a few weeks. Sometimes longer.
It’s going to be nearly 50 today. We’re going out for a few hour road ride. I have a splitting headache. Riding usually helps that. I hope that is the case here.
