Here is a video of the revenge race the day after Nationals 10 years ago in Providence. And no, Chris Horner doesn’t beat me. I think I ended up 10th on the day. A little slow start.

Chris who?
Just make his check payable to Rider #15, he’ll still cash it
2005, cycling’s golden era of doping, classic!
Name some people from this race that you’re convinced were doping.
Horner is terrible at cyclocross. His fitness carried him.
I was a spectator at this race. His barrier technique was jaw-droppingly bad. Cat 5 on a hybrid bad. I resolved in 2015 to not use the word Retarded. So I won’t do so in describing Horner on a cross bike.
As to where Horner’s fitness came from…I assume it was genetics and a lot of bike practice.
