This photo was taken at the 1983 Cross Nationals in Plymouth MA I think. Bob Roll is showing us how not to go over a barrier. I don't think he ever took his hands off his bars. Paul Curley (Fuji) is the rider leading Bob.

I still remember someone at the Melon City Crit deciding Curley had done something “bad” to him and trying to hook him in the little hairpin at the top. Curley just bunny hopped the curb and laughed at him.

I think this is juss “Bob B4 his time ….” looks exactly like the stuff they do in Freestyle Motocross in the X-Games!!!!
