Cadel Evans so far this year has done those stripes proud. It seems like sometimes that jersey is a curse the next season. Not this year. He started strong in his home country, Australia, at the Tour Down Under. And he never looked back. He rode great in Amstel Gold and Liege. Won the crazy hard finish at Fleche Wallone and now today. Leading nearly the whole last km and then riding those guys off his wheel at the end. Pretty good stuff. Guess those stripes are doing what they should – Add motivation and confidence.
