UCI “WINS” against Floyd

This entry was posted in Racing on by .

There is an article here at Cyclingnews.com that says that the UCI won a judgement against Floyd in their defamation case against him. Floyd was ordered to pay Monsieurs McQuaid and Verbruggen, 10000 CHF each and take out ads in a bunch of publications, Wall Street Journal, L’Équipe, Le Temps, NYVelocity, Cyclingnews, Velonation, Velonews and De Volksrant, publishing the verdict, saying he was a liar, liar pants on fire. I wonder if there is anyway I can get my website on that list?

The key thing here is that Floyd didn’t show up. I wonder if anyone has any authority to make Floyd do anything at this point. Internationally, I’d bet it is pretty hard to enforce a judgement like this. (And the beat goes on – Here is an article that states that Floyd was never served.)

The court said that Floyd definitely can’t say any of the following – That the UCI or the above mentioned Monsieurs “have concealed cases of doping, received money for doing so, have accepted money from Lance Armstrong to conceal a doping case, have protected certain racing cyclists, concealed cases of doping, have engaged in manipulation, particularly of tests and races, have hesitated and delayed publishing the results of a positive test on Alberto Contador, have accepted bribes, are corrupt, are terrorists, have no regard for the rules, load the dice, are fools, do not have a genuine desire to restore discipline to cycling, are full of shit, are clowns, their words are worthless, are liars, are no different to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, or to make any similar other allegations of that kind.”

Wow, they got pretty specific there. Luckily Floyd has put all the “silliness” behind him and has moved on to a more serious endeavor, NASCAR.

Monsieurs McQuaid and Verbruggen and are as corrupt as the day is long. Maybe that will get you on the radar. Unfortunately, cycling needs more Floyd before things change

Publish the apology, April 1, 2013 and end with the money shot you have in italics.

    The comedy writes itself!

“There is no treaty in force between the United States and any country on the reciprocal enforcement of judgments in general.” http://travel.state.gov/law/judicial/judicial_4303.html

If Floyd lives in Switzerland or has assets which can be seized there, then the court can get to him. If he lives in the US and has his assets here, they can’t touch him. If he’s domiciled in the European Union, including the UK, these rules apply: http://ec.europa.eu/world/agreements/downloadFile.do?fullText=yes&treatyTransId=13041

Personally, I would just like to add that I think that the UCI, Verbruggen & McQuaid have concealed cases of doping, received money for doing so, have accepted money from Lance Armstrong to conceal a doping case, have protected certain racing cyclists, concealed cases of doping, have engaged in manipulation, particularly of tests and races, have hesitated and delayed publishing the results of a positive test on Alberto Contador, have accepted bribes, are corrupt, are terrorists, have no regard for the rules, load the dice, are fools, do not have a genuine desire to restore discipline to cycling, are full of shit, are clowns, their words are worthless, are liars, and are no different to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

If Floyd can no longer say it, I will say it for him.

Sure wish you could have had a Floyd sighting out west and heard his side… moving on… PSY – Gangnam Style doesn’t hold a candle to Major Bedhead’s Lair Lair ” Style ” !

Giving Floyd the benefit of the doubt or believing he has any credibility is a stretch. Anyone that writes book based completely on lies and swears by it until the bitter end, is akin to a jailhouse snitch. Do I believe Floyd is truthful ? Positivly False !

Yesterday I read excerpts from Tyler Hamiltons new book in which he reveals the details of systematic doping at US Postal and coverups by the UCI. It’s very compelling and as he writes “the truth will set you free”. But at the same time a Swiss court rules against Floyd for telling the same story 2 years ago? I guess UCI will have to go after Tyler next. Wait, what if USADA finds there was a conspiricy with UCI and Lancey Pants? WIll UCI apologize to Floyd? Will USADA tell UCI to shove it?Throw the bums out and clean house at the UCI IMHO. The more I learn about this the more pissed off it makes me.

Sounds like a BS case – the average person reading this will see right through it – sad day for the UCI and the corrupt McQuiad – oh – sorry you going to sue me too you fucking piece of Irish shit?

The UCI has lost all credibility. How many more riders do they need to corroborate Tyler’s/Floyd’s account? The truth will set you free!

Floyd and Tyler aboth lied with out a blink of the eye. “The truth will set you free.” It is hard to feel for a guy when he is making money to tell the truth. He could have typed up his book and put it online for free. We are all faced with the decision race our bikes or get another job. No one makes you dope but yourself. It does not matter if you work for the uci or race a bike. A lie is a lie and a cheat is a cheat.

I’ll let Jeff Burton know that you posted his picture… in not such a good light. I bet he will just love that.
