David Millar – Part 2

A lot of what he says on this makes total sense. I disagree with some of his observations, but it shows how it is very easy to get caught up in the whole process. I do agree that it was much easier to dope than not dope. That is sad. Hopefully that is nearing a tipping point. A certain arrogance comes across, which might explain some of his success. I like the bluntness and filming of the piece. Very appropriate for the subject matter. Thanks Jay for sending it my way.

Steve – were you ever put under pressure to dope by a team? or by a coach? If so, what did you do – what was your tipping point away from doping? What was your reaction? What happened to you and your career?

I’m with Hudson on this. I know it gets into expensive legal territory by telling a story, but it would be good to hear your side.

Even back in the Schwinn Wheaties days we know Alexi was taking stimulants which is child’s play compared to what’s going on now. It seems to me you were around at about the transition to EPO, so your experience would be informative.
