I’ve raced a ton in Britain and this is a pretty common occurrence, but you’d think Mark Cavendish wouldn’t be the guy doing it.  The car seems pretty far off the road.  Most of the times, in the races I did, the driver would be in the car and had just pulled off to the side and the rider would hit the windshield after hitting the front of the car.  This could have been much worse, he could have just caught his leg and really been hurt.  He is deciding right now whether to fly over to Richmond to do Worlds.
