Leaving Seattle

Okay, I’ve been helping Catherine out in Seattle for nearly a week now and am heading back to Kansas today. Man, is that town busy. Driving to the airport at 5 am this morning, the traffic was already heavy. I think that she got the lay of the land down pretty much. Today is her first day at work, so her day is going to be much shorter now. We went back out to Bainbridge Island and checked out a few houses again. That is a pretty okay place to ride and the ferry drops her off a short walk from her work. She has a couple months of corporate housing, so she has some time to try to figure out where she ultimately wants to end up.

I have a bunch of organizing to do at home. Plus, a ton of bike work, so I’m not going to have any problem keeping busy. Trudi was up in Chicago visiting her mom this past weekend, so she just got home last night. I hate having her drive back to pick me up at the airport in Kansas City after driving so long, but she dropped us off on the way, so there isn’t a car there for me to drive home.

Okay, the flight is boarding, so I have to get going. Here are some photos from the past few days.

The Space Needle is Seattle's signature attraction.

I meet up with a couple old friends, Wick and Gavin O'Grady a couple nights ago. These guys are just the same. It was great catching up some.

This guy was doing pretty well down by the ferry landing.

I saw this guy walk by me on the ferry. I wasn't sure what the deal was.

He sat down and the cat climbed off his shoulder and curled up in his lap.

The apples out on Bainbridge are to die for.

Catherine picked up her new company car yesterday. It's an AWD Toyota Sienna. When she told the human resources person at her new job that is what she wanted, they thought it was a joke. It is a very nice car.

Plenty of room for my bike this morning.

The cat dude has it going on, have you ever tried to train one of your cats? Looks like all you need is a coonskin cap to get started

Growing up we had a cat that you could easily drape over both shoulders. He didn’t mind and seemed to content to ride around like that. He would be purring up a storm the entire time. I would walk around looking like I was wearing a siamese cat stole. I’ve never had another cat that would let me do that.

Nice neckwarmer, I’ll bet you could train at least one of the Tilford cats to do that. Naiomi would be the best, I think.

I used to live in Washington State, in a town called Mount Lake Terrace, Washington, I think. I lived in this group care home place, for troubled teens, there in Washington State, there in Mount Lake Terrace, Washington, called the Resource Center. I am originally from the Mid West, and was happy to happy to get back, to the Mid West, even though Washington State, was ok for awhile, I guess, I was still happy, to get back to the Mid West! but Washington State, was ok, I guess. I also was a mental patient, at the Seattle Children’s Hospital too. yes, I was also a mental patient, at the Children’s Hospital, in Seattle too! I think I have a nut case stalker, who has now turned into a cyber stalker, who might have known me there, in Washington, State. yes, I think I might very well have a nut case stalker, that knew me out there in Washington State, that has now turned into a cyber stalker! Tracy Tupper? Betty LENSKY? Brian Cummings? a Mental Therapist? could my possibly known cyber stalker, be a Mental Therapist? Brian Cummings? Betty LENSKY? Tracy Tupper? maybe a Mental Hospital Staff?! maybe it was one of the many Mental Hospital Staff?! Patient Volunteers?! could it be one of the many Patient Volunteers?! Teachers at one of the many schools, I went to?! could it be one of the many Teachers, at one of the many schools, I went to there, in Washington State?!
