World’s Video/Birthday Cake/Vail Colorado

Kind of behind schedule today already and the day hasn’t really started. Trudi invited a few people over last night, so I ended up not packing much, but sharing wine and stories with friends. Below is a interview/video that Keith did after the Master’s Worlds, plus a couple photos from last night. We’re just driving to Denver today, so it’s not even 8 hours. Then up to Vail on Tuesday, repair scheduled for Wednesday. Okay, I better get some stuff together for the next few weeks.

Our ride today was pretty good. What a waste of form. I'd love to be going down to Texas for Walberg/Pace Bend/Lago Vista and such. We had a 20.1mph average for 53 miles and the wind was blowing between 30-40mph all day.

Trudi is packing like it's a vacation. Two types of nordic skis, plus her downhill skis too.

Keith and Catherine gave me an alpaca sweater, plus a super nice alpaca blanket. Catherine sewed my initials into the blanket so nobody at the hospital will make off with it. I think she doesn't quite understand the outpatient part of outpatient surgery.
