I know this doesn’t have anything to do with this post, but I was stunned by how shitty the bikes were, at every bike rack, on the K-State campus. I had no idea this was the case.

Seems a typical campus. Magna, Schwinn, Diamond back. 13 cheap MTB/Hybrids and one drop bar road bike by my count. Typical, me thinks. Most all are, I suspect, actually one speeds. The derailleurs are likely an illusion, but no matter, you usually get one gear out of a campus bike.
Someone please tell me when the cheap carbon starts pop up on campus’s as abandoned bikes. It is only a matter of time.
